Using E-textiles to Monitor Sleep and Walking Performance in People with Dementia
We are currently conducting a research study at Ontario Tech University to validate the use of e-textiles in monitoring and improving sleep and walking performance in people living with dementia.
Participants Needed!
We are currently looking for older adults with mild-to-moerate dementia to take part in a 6-week study. You will receive a $75 gift card at study completion.
You may be eligible if:
- You are 55 years of age or older
- You have a caregiver to provide informed consent on your behalf
- You live in Oshawa or the surrounding area
- You can walk independently (with or without an assistive device)
- You or your caregiver own a smartphone capable of running the study apps
- You are English-speaking
